The Academy is proud to partner with hospices, providing free or low-cost materials and specific training for all staff and leaders caring for patients. Our services range from foundational continuing education courses to fully customized training packages designed to meet your team’s specific needs.

Courses and resources – Here you’ll find everything from clinical overviews and case enactments to guides on grief care and complex case reviews. Our videos are generally free, but we also offer CEs to nurses, doctors, and social workers for a small fee.

Receive referrals: We’re happy to provide referrals. Complete the form and share your hospice’s approach to aid-in-dying care, and we’ll contact you soon.

Materials for bedside staff: We offer printable patient information sheets, easy staff instructions for oral self-administration, and a helpful patient tracking sheet. Free to print and share.

Hospice staff support groups: We invite staff to join our private support group or participate in our confidential online chat designed just for them.

Leadership and policy guidance: Here you’ll find the Academy’s evidence-based hospice best practices checklist and model policy guide to help develop or refine your hospice’s approach.

Staff training and development: We provide comprehensive, customized staff training and policy development assistance. Tell us what you need, and we’ll design a training specifically for your staff.
