The Academy of Aid-in-Dying Medicine is the only national organization dedicated to advancing and teaching best practices in clinical aid-in-dying care. Your gift helps our team train physicians, nurses, social workers, end-of-life doulas become experts in offering this option to terminally ill patients.

Your gift trains clinicians through our Overview Series on the Fundamentals of medical aid-in-dying, ethics consultations, and continuing education courses on pharmacology, capacity determinations, and non-oral self-administration.
In 2026, the Academy is supporting three newly-eligible states — Delaware, Illinois, and New York — as they stand up aid-in-dying care for the first time.
