Jonathan is the Regional Director of Palliative Care and Hospice Medicine at the Mid Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. In this role, he oversees the development and delivery of palliative care resources to Kaiser Permanente members in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. Prior to this, he was the physician lead for the Palliative Care Clinic at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center. In both roles he has served as a prescriber and service facilitator for aid-in-dying practice and an advocate for the ethical promulgation of services to qualifying individuals.
