Ed Neppl retired from his position as the Chief Financial Officer of the United States Tennis Association (a 501(c)(6) organization) in 2024. In that position he was responsible for all aspects of strategic planning and business analysis, financial reporting, accounting and controls. Most notably, he was responsible for orchestrating four private placements of $700+ million in new debt to support the complete renovation of the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home of the prestigious US Open. Prior to joining the USTA in 2012, Ed held several positions within NBC Universal, most recently as Senior VP and CFO for NBC Sports & Olympics division of NBC. He also served as the CFO of the Universal Studios Production Lot in Los Angeles, and was the Global Controller for Universal Studios Theme Parks & Resorts division. Prior to joining NBCU, Ed served as the Vice President of Finance at Pallotta Teamworks (Producing the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Events & AIDSRides across the country), and as Finance Manager at Walt Disney Imagineering. Ed is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with degrees in Accounting and Finance.
