Robin has been caring for patients who desire medical aid in dying since August of 2020. Since then, she has advised hundreds of patients about medical aid in dying through her practice, Compassionate Endings NJ, and has attended more than 300 aid-in-dying deaths at the bedside. An enthusiastic educator and advocate for assisted deaths, Robin has spoken nationally on this topic. For the first 30 years of her career, she was an emergency physician and trained in hospice and palliative care. Since 2017, she has worked exclusively with patients at the end of their lives.
